Pete managed a large project for us to convert a set of stone barns into habitable accommodation. The work was complex and challenging as the barns were in poor condition and needed extensive under-pinning and structural support. Pete was directly responsible for all of the structural work, carpentry, flooring (which included reclaimed flagstones, reclaimed slate, travertine and engineered oak), decorating and garden landscaping.
We are delighted with the result. As well as a wide range of building skills Pete has an excellent eye for design and we valued his advice highly – many of his design ideas are incorporated in the completed project. We are about to start on the second phase of the project to refurbish an old cottage and Pete will play a key role in that. We can recommend Pete highly for all building work, including sensitive renovation, especially where input is needed on the design.
