A complete renovation of a derelict barn attached to dilapidated farm house. Extensive use of oak and natural materials were a priority in the contstruction. This project included substantial landscaping after construction work.
Kitchen renovation, removal of part of external wall and addition of hardwood bi-fold doors. Sympathetic finishing was needed to match the existing lime mortar and stonework.
The discovery of a spring on this site gave us some early problems. What appeared to be a straighforward construction required specialist pile-driven foundations to a depth of 12m.
